WE OFFER THREE DIFFERENT PROGRAMS IN TRACK AND FIELD DURING OUR SEASONS OF CROSS COUNTRY, INDOORS, AND OUTDOORS


  • Cross Country, Indoor Track and Summer Track & Field Program (Competitive) training program is free.
  • Cross Country, Indoor Track and Summer Fitness Program (Non Competitive) training is not free, everyone just wanting to join for fitness purpose have to pay $200 upon registration. This fee goes towards coaches’ fee, time, and more training gears for the team.


Our seasons are broken into overlapping phases: pre-season, local invitational meets, district & regional qualifiers, & national championships.  The invitational circuit is based in and around metropolitan St. Louis.  District & regional qualifiers occur in June.   The national championships are held in the end of July or beginning of August.


Our training approach is tailored & personalized for our athletes.   We emphasize correct running, throwing, & jumping technique and work closely with your children to improve their form.  Workouts focus on conditioning, speed, strength, speed endurance, endurance, mobility,  agility, & flexibility .


The goal of , the Mustangs Track Club is to developed & trained Sprinters, Middle distance runners, Jumpers, Race Walkers, & Throwers interested in competing against the best local, regional, & national talent.   We participate in both AAU and USATF sponsored events.



Our training schedules are as followers:

We really recommend that all our athletes ages 5-18 runs Cross Country 


MID AUGUST – NOVEMBER

  • Cross-Country training and competition, Cross Country is very essential to our program because it helps us and our athletes to develop strength and endurance which is needed for our later part of our seasons  like indoor and our summer track programs.

DECEMBER – MARCH

  • Indoor Track and Field training and competition

APRIL – AUGUST

  • Outdoor Track and Field training and competition

Athletes will receive two hours of extensive training per session in various techniques and drills essential in Track and Field. Training will involve key elements of physical fitness, strength and endurance.


Fall Running! Our Cross Country program begins in mid August and runs through December.  Practices are held at various facilities in south st Louis area like , Forest Park, & Carondelet park, Roosevelt high school, Tillies Park  and Tower Groove Park.  Weekend training occurs on St. Louis Metro Park trails.  Invitational meets are held on weekends and most Sundays during the Month of September- early December.

Stay Sharp & Fit !  Our Indoor Season begins in November and runs through February.  Practices are held at Roosevelt High School.  Invitational meets are held amongst regional colleges starting in January and concluding in March.



Practices for our summer seasons has already  begin  but all other new comers are welcome to start train with us now for the Indoors & summer season or you can just start training in January. Our Summer competitive season  runs April & continues into early August.  We practice four nights per week from 5:30 PM to 8 PM Monday - Thursday with Fridays Schedule for all our field events such as: Shot put,Javelin, Jumpers, Relays etc... Our team policy is for participants to attend a minimum of three practices weekly.  Practice will begin on 1st  Monday of January of each  year at Roosevelt high school which is located at the Corner of South Compton and Gravois Ave, Saint Louis, MO 63118.  Get directions here!

*COACHES: All of our coaches must under go two background checks before joining the mustangs the first one must be done by the club itself and the second is through the USATF.
